Located in the heart of Washington Heights, home to hundreds of thousands of residents of Dominican and other Latino heritage, the United Palace hosts dozens of Latin-themed concerts every year. UPCA also produces and presents concerts, movie premieres, and other showcases of Latino professional artists, such as the Dominican Film Festival, Comedy from Morir Sonando, the Dominican Day Parade Kickoff Celebration, and Bachateria, a concert tracing the history of bachata music.
